Welcome

Dear Noble Guests:

It is a happy day for us that you have chosen to visit Beautiful Earth!  Welcome.

We are pleased to offer you a variety of resources which are free for you to use.  We trust that you will use them to assist others in understanding the nature of the state of our planet and how everyone can make a difference in creating a vibrant, healthy and safe planet for our children and all future generations.  The positive actions taken by men, women and children around the world lift the spirit and encourage us to make better choices every single day.

While we must report the truth about the state of the planet, we wish for you to know that as all earth citizens gather together and do what is right to heal our ailing earth, we can indeed create a Golden Era where the oceans are once again healthy and teeming with life, the atmospheric GHG’s are well below their limits, every man, woman and child has food and water, all wars have ceased and all killing has stopped including killing animals for food.  In The Golden Era, the planet is a healthy, happy and peaceful place.

Will you join us in restoring our planet? We’d love to have you work along side us.

We believe that we have the perfect and fastest solution to save our planet!  But first let’s address the fact that some people don’t believe we even have a problem.   They believe that global warming is not real.

Is the planet in trouble or is this “just part of a planetary cycle”?

Scientists have concluded that we have a huge challenge on our hands. Scientists like Dr. James Hansen, Chief NASA Climatologist, tell us we have just to the end of 2012 to stop the global warming or it will turn into run-away global heating.  Of course, we have the deniers who say that we don’t really having a problem – that scientists are not in agreement and/or that our situation is just part of some cycle that the earth goes through every million years and therefore can heal itself.  What these deniers have forgotten to study is that our current situation is very different from past situations because this one is human made.  And, because it is human made, humans need to fix it.  The oceans can’t repair themselves if we continually pump methane, carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere!

The deniers are being forced to listen as more and more evidence proves they are wrong.  The US Environmental Agency concluded that “The endangerment finding is based on years of science from the U.S. and around the world.” Another recent report by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration looked at data from 10 climate indicators measured by 300 scientists from 160 research groups in 48 countries.  It concluded that human-caused climate change is undeniable and is increasing. Therefore, if we wish to save this planet for our children and all future generations, we must act now.

Evidence of Global Warming – ‘The 12 Climate Catastrophes’

These make up the greatest Planetary Emergency for life on Earth that we can readily respond to.

  1. Climate change is killing our fellow human beings.  300,000 people die annually.  Many are losing their homes due to rising sea levels.
  2. World food and water supplies are in peril. One billion people go hungry every year.  72% of the world’s 925 largest ocean reaching rivers are drying up.  Acquifers under the major cities of Beijing, Delhi and Bangkok are drying up.  2010 was the hottest year on record around the world.
  3. Arctic Ocean methane hydrates are melting.  50 billion metric tons of methane could erupt at any moment from the warming Arctic.  We refer here to the methane hydrates underneath the sea which are usually frozen but are melting due to the warmer waters.  Scientist Natalia Shakhova reports these hydrates could result in “catastrophic greenhouse warming”.
  4. Rapid thawing of the permafrost in the Arctic. Dangerous methane gas is being released from the permafrost.
  5. Greenhouse gas concentrations are accelerating. According to the ice core record of the past 800,000 years of life on Earth, the safe limit for CO2 is 300 ppm.  We are at 385.  The safe limit for methane is 700 ppb.  We are at 1,750 ppb.  The safe limit for nitrous oxide is 280 ppb.  We are at 320 ppb.  In other words, we’re way over the top!
  6. The oceans are dying.  Hundreds of dead zones are appearing around the globe.  They are dying because they are being made too acidic and too warm.  The coastal ocean dead zones are mostly due to livestock and industrial agriculture chemical runoff.
  7. Life on Earth has already entered the 6th mass extinction. Many hundreds of species are being lost every day and this is due mostly to habitat destruction and degradation (UNEP).  Global climate change has just started to impact on top of that causing more species to be lost.  The mass extinction rate is ‘faster than dinosaurs’ reports The Guardian 02May2006.  Around 15% of mammal species and 11% of bird species are classified as threatened with extinction reports The Guardian 16Aug2010.
  8. The Arctic and Antarctic polar ice caps and Greenland ice sheet are melting. When the summer Arctic sea ice melts, the entire northern hemisphere will lose its ‘air conditioner’ cooling effect with grave implications for scorching summers and crop failures.  And then global warming will be accelerated.
  9. Glaciers are melting all over the world. His Excellency The Prime Minister of Bhutan has told us that “Mount Everest is now more black than white.”  As the glaciers melt they will create floods and, as they disappear, the life-giving water will not longer be available to the people who depend on it … affecting up to 1/3 of the world’s population.
  10. Natural disasters have greatly increased. Witness major earthquakes in Chili, Haiti, Turkey, China and more.  And how about the volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, wild fires, hurricanes, mud slides and insect infestations.  Source:  UNEP.
  11. Industrial livestock is destructive to the planet. The two most powerful and dangerous greenhouse gases, methane and nitrous oxide, are mainly emitted by our livestock-based chemical-intensive food production industry.  In a World Watch study (see ‘Article’ section of this website), Robert Goodland and Jeff Anhang concluded “…our analysis shows that livestock and their byproducts actually account for at least 32,564 million tons of CO2 every year of 51% of annual worldwide greenhouse gas emissions.” In addition, animal agriculture is connected to 80% of annual removal of trees,  50% of our original rainforests have been felled primarily to raise cattle and livestock uses up to 70% of our clean water and most of our cereal crops.
  12. The loss of human compassion for all beings. This is our greatest catastrophe.  We needlessly slaughter over50 billion animals a year for food when the plant-based vegan diet has been proven to be the healthiest diet in the world.  (read The China Study by Dr. T. Colin Campbell for more information)  Humans have shut down their ability to truly love and be loved.  They have forgotten that animals have feelings too – that they cry when they get hurt and when they are killed.  If you were an animal, just like them, you would try to run away because no one likes to be killed.  Animals have families just like we do and they suffer when a loved one is taken away to be made into hamburgers.  In addition to the animal loss, poor nutrition plays a role in at least half of the 11 million child deaths each year – over five million deaths.  Earlier we mentioned that 1 billion people go hungry every year.  Have we stopped caring about the fate of our fellow humans?

The Fastest Solution to Save our Planet is the Noble Vegan Diet

With no new international climate treaty, the world is currently on track for a global average temperature increase of 4° C.  Even if we add up the proposals that nations have put forward to the UN the warming is still 3 to 4 degrees C (carbon tracker).  A global average temperature increase of above 3° C will put world agriculture into irreversible decline with declining crop yields affecting all regions (IPCC).

Because at least 51% of global warming comes from livestock and its byproducts, every person can now act effectively to stop it.  The solution is simple.  If each of us stops eating meat, we can save the planet.

Once we have all gone vegan, with the huge reduction in the amount of green house gases being pumped into the atmosphere, we can then put into action these other solutions which will take much longer to implement such as greater use of solar panels, wind turbines, hybrid electric cars and so on.

We cannot rely on these non-vegan solutions alone.  We have to cut all greenhouse gas emissions from all sources to save our planet and the most rapidly effective cut is to methane. The reason we can’t rely on these solutions is because they will take far too long to clean up the planet.  But choosing what we put on our fork can immediately turn the situation around.

The world turning vegan, rapidly starts reducing the global emissions of all three main greenhouse gases- carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide.  There is no other change we can make that cuts all three greenhouse gas emissions, and cuts them rapidly.

In addition by saving the tropical rain forests (emitting CO2 by being cleared for pasture) we stop the 6th mass extinction.

In the words of Supreme Master Ching Hai, “If we love ourselves.  If we love our planet.  If we love our children.  Any sacrifice will do.  Become a Vegan.”

It’s the noble thing to do.  Let’s do it for the kids.

Hi. Thank you so much for your comments. I googled Jamie Oliver. I was hoping to find a vegan chef. Looks like he advocates eating animals for food. Animals are not food. Animals are like people in that they have feelings.
We must stop killing animals for food. And then, 11,000,000 million children will not die of hunger every year, 1 billion people on the planet won’t go hungry every year and we will have a chance to stop run-away global heating because over 51% of global warming comes from the livestock industry and its byproducts. Make sense?

Or, did I find the wrong Jamie Oliver?

May you have a blessed day.

Eating veggie is good for wellness. For people who tend to be worry about your wellness, you ought to quit consume animal meat and choose vegetable correct away. Many vegetable recipe now isn’t really health but are delicous too. So just try for 1 month even you are afraid of not able to sustain on it.

  6. While we are discussing the benefits of Beautiful Earth, This happens because the assimilation of nutrients increases and the body can get more nutrients from less smoothies, your body satisfies the most urgent needs for nutrients, it also becomes more alkaline and doesn’t need as much greens as before. Please remember to keep rotating your greens for variety!
